- Years ago it was common to see regular #10 envelops in the mail. But these days with corporate mailings so prevalent you don’t see a whole lot of #10 plain envelopes. So this means use them! Its unusual and that will get attention. Also, don’t use labels for the address or return label. Hand write everything and use a regular stamp not a postage meter. Anything that looks professional or automated is bad so don’t do it.
- Other options are mailing a DVD. Record a video of you giving your offer. Then mail the DVD. This creates interest as opposed to a standard letter. You can also, mail your offer in a flat rate box. Its a little more expensive but when was the last time you got a box in the mail and through it away without opening it?
- Last is for knocking on doors and yes that strategy works. But when you leave a home always leave a credibility kit. This should include testimonials and if your new just get them from your friends and co-workers. Testimonials go a long way to building trust.
